While all three diets provided adequate macro- and micronutrients, flexitarians showed a prevalence of cobalamin and iron deficiencies, and all groups exhibited low vitamin D intake and status, with supplementation being a key factor in mitigating deficiencies, particularly for vitamin D and cobalamin.
